I purchased this dresser to go with the Stork Craft Rochester Stages Fixed Side Crib also in cherry. It was delivered with no problems and in good condition. My dad put it together for me and said he had no problems doing it. There were a lot of pieces but as long as you follow the directions and don't over tighten cam-lock system you should have no problems. At first my dad was worried it wouldn't be very sturdy but once it was completely together it was solid. Included with the dresser was an anchor kit so you can anchor the dresser to the wall. The color is beautiful. A dark cherry wood. It is pretty soft wood which doesn't bother me but it does scratch easy so I suggest a wood pen for corrections. No big deal there. I did notice some of the knobs on the drawers were a little loose so my dad used some wood glue in the screw holes and the knobs were perfectly tight like they should be. I definitely suggest doing this even if your knobs are tight when you first put it together. Overall I would definitely recommend this dresser to anyone who can't afford to spend more and is looking to get the best bang for their buck.

I would like to state that I take issue with the previous reviews, in that they claim this piece is flimsy. It is NOT at all flimsy, nor does it look cheap. In fact, my husband and I have the entire set (changing table and dresser), along with the Montery Crib. When you receive the boxes, there is an instruction booklet that clearly states that the manufacturer, not the store, will handle all returns, exchanges, or shipping of missing parts. Well, we had a question regarging set-up of this product and thought there was a defect. We spoke with Storkcraft directly, and found thqat we were not following the assembly directions properly. Storkcraft was exremely helpful and pleasant, and promised us that we could return the item at any time to them DIRECTLY, and they would arrange for a prompt exchange. This piece looks beautiful, and serves its purpose as a infant/child dresser. I am sure that you could spend $1,000 on a high-end piece, but if you are looking for something that is 1) AFFORDABLE, and 2) WELL-MADE, and 3) BEAUTIFUL, then Storkcraft is a good choice.
This is an absolutely beautiful chest of drawers!!!! I bought it sight unseen (well I didn't find it anywhere to see it in person) and for the price I really expected to receive some cheap flimsy chest. To my surprise it is pretty solid. The drawers are made of veneer wood but the rest is solid wood. I especially like the smooth semi glossy white color. I have to say the picture is a little deceiving and leads you to think the drawers are deep. The front part is tall but the sides are more shallow. I would recommed getting this 5 drawer instead of the 3 or 4 drawer if you are requiring more storage space. I put this together myself toward the end of my pregnancy with the easy to follow picture directions. All you need is a phillips screwdriver and you are set. Overall if you don't want to fork over an extravagant amount of money this is definitly worth the price.
My husband and I both love this dresser, reason being we have one for each child. I actually put the first one we bought together myself and was 8 months pregnant and the second one my husband but together for our one month old. We actually bought a different dresser trying to have a little different furniture but the other fell apart while putting together so we bought this one again! I think it is a perfect dresser for a baby room and is very nice quality. I would totally recommend this dresser to anyone and everyone!
I've read others reviews and I must admit the drawer design does leave something to desire but...this is a chest for a "BABY". That is why you'll loose some storage space if you store adult clothing. The drawers are designed the way they are because baby clothes are small. DUH!!! As for the look and quality of the chest, it is top notch for the price. Go to any furniture store in your town try to buy something similar to this chest and it will set you back $499 or more.
Color true to description and picture. Good quality, smooth drawer slides. Taller than I thought but I should have paid more attention to dimensions! Overall worth the money.
My husband and I have just assembled this dresser for one of our twins and it looks better than imagined. A great buy!! Assembly took about 2 hours and the color is spot on. It works great as well, no missing parts.
Incredible!!! A solid piece of furniture. I did not buy these for a baby's room so, please, don't let the Stork name dissuade you from purchasing. A tall piece of furniture. Plenty of space in each drawer. They have more of a reddish tint than a brown cherry tint. Smooth drawers when opening and closing. Cost was much cheaper than what I was shopping for in the stores. The assembly was simple enough...one tip-pay attention to the top and bottom front curved pieces--make sure the "screws" are not facing the front of the dresser. Believe it or not, the customer service was even better!!! They had called in advance to schedule a delivery date. I am so impressed with this transaction from start to finish!!
