I searched and did a lot of research before buying this one. I am very impressed. I wanted a steam cleaner because I didnt want the water sitting in my carpet and padding, this one takes it out wonderfully. I wanted something with a long hose so I could do furniture and vehicles..this one has it. I also wanted seperate water containers.
I took someones suggestion when I got it and boiled a teapot of water and added that to my hot water..definitely worth the extra time. It took me only an hr to do my couches, cushions and living room floor. I did not use the soap that was included though because my carpet distributor has said that soap will attract the dirt, so I use a cleaner that wont soap up. By the time I finished my carpet, my couches were dry along with where I had started. Today I steam cleaned my childrens rooms. I had ink on one of their carpets that pros could not get out a yr ago. I moved the brushes back and forth and side to side and it came up! Im sure the cleaner has some help with that...but the more I moved the brushes, the more came out. As soon as I finished the bedrooms, my 2yo proceeded to throw up on them, so I just cleaned it right up with the steam cleaner..not a spot or smell left. I will be using this on their mattresses really soon. Need to get rid of the stains and dust mites in them.
This steam cleaner is very easy to use. Its easy to push. The only problem I do have with it is that the surge cleaner button is in an awkward spot..but its not a big deal, I dont use it that much. Even my husband had fun with it! Definitely a great investment for our house..which has 4 children...ages 2 through 8.

I used this product for child proofing my daughters room.I looked into different products to secure furniture and this one was the simplest yet strong enough for child proofing. it is easy to detach if needed.
I've had these installed on my son's dresser and bookcase for almost two years. They seem very strong and I've pulled on the dresser with all my weight and they've held. The great thing is that you can remove the zip tie style connector without having to cut anything (meaning they are reusable). I've found it's not that easy to remove them because I have my furniture very close to the wall, so I don't have much clearance, but I've had to disconnect them a few times when my son throws toys back there. Very good product that keeps my son safe.
We have owned these for 6+ years. Just moved a piece of furniture to paint and the straps were just fine. No brittle issue here at all.
It took me a few tries to install these properly. The product itself is simple and straightforward. I recommend taking the extra time and planning. The biggest issue I had was installing the wall bracket too high above the furniture. The ties that connect the furniture to the wall are not as long as they seem.
This product is one of those items that you'll never know you need until that one time you do. It was easy to install and it seemed sturdy to do its job.
When I got the brackets I thought to myself "glorified zip ties", but after installing them and and testing them out, I'm very happy that they work as advertised. I installed the brackets into wall studs and into solid wood on my furniture (making sure to follow the provided instructions to pre-drill the holes in my furniture). After tightening the straps I gave the drawers a tug and it didn't tip over! My boys are safe for another day...
Great child safety product, easy to install, not noticeable behind furniture. Great price for the great product you get. Would recommend to any one even bought some for family.
