Perfect for the modern Apt

I was legitimately scared to buy this platform because of all the horrible reviews I read on this product. Let me tell you people, it's not bad, AT ALL. Especially for the price! I'm 20 years old with a decent amount of common sense. The instructions are NOT hard to follow, if you pay attention to detail. I put it together, by myself, in 2 and a half hours. It arrived in one piece, and decently packaged. No broken pieces but with a couple minor scratches that were easily covered with the provided touch up marker. The "flimsy drawer bottoms" or the "uneven drawer rails" I've read about are also not really a concern if you follow the directions. The drawers aren't the most solid thing in the world but they are more than enough to fit what clothes I don't hang up in the closet. I mainly bought this because I am moving out closer to school/work and I wanted all new furniture since what I had at home was pretty old and beat up, and the price seemed tempting. I am very glad I took that risk! It complements the modern style I was going for and is a great platform for the mattress I bought with it.

Though I did it by myself, and so could almost anyone else, I would recommend help on the last part. Flipping the bed up on its head by lifting it from the foot with concentrated force did make me kinda nervous since it's not all one solid piece of wood. Spreading it out between two people would be a better idea.

I normally don't take the time to review items, (in fact this is the first time doing one) but maybe it can help those out that know they aren't helpless and have common sense themselves.
