Floor protection pads for your furniture

Felt Stick Floor Proctector Pack

Felt Stick Floor Proctector Pack

Recently we installed hardwood floor laminate in two rooms of our home and ordered one package of these felt pads to apply to the underside of the feet of all of our furniture in the wood floor rooms. The variable sizes and adhesive backing made the application easy. Once applied the pads served to protect the flooring from scratches when furniture moves about, and also made it easier to move furniture when needed. They work very well when applied to furniture which is not be be moved often. However, if applied to often moved furniture, such as chairs of a dining table, then the adhesive will eventually give way and the pad will move from its original position. To prevent this in such pieces of furniture, I applied a thin coating of Goop adhesive glue, then applied the pad and let it stand to allow the glue to set for overnight, then the pad would stay in place in spite of movement of the furniture.
