EZ Moves Permanent Furniture Slides
These things worked great. I was thinking about calling 5 or 6 other guys to come over and help us move our very heavy piano across the room. I had recently heard about piano slide and, since they're so inexpensive, I thought I would try that first. I had my wife hold a towel and then I lifted the piano a few inches off the floor. While I did that, she used the towel to wipe any dust and dirt off the floor under the wheel and then put a slide under the wheel. Once we had all four slides under we swept up the hardwood floor and used a towel to wipe the floor between where the piano was and where we wanted it to be. I didn't want and grit scratching the floor when we moved it.
Then my wife and I, with very little effort, slid our piano across the room and into its new location. I worked like a charm! I would absolutely recommend them. Just make sure that if you're going across tile or hardwood you clean up your path and make sure there is no grit on the floor when you place the slide also. But this is significantly cheaper and easier than hiring someone to move stuff or getting enough friends to come over on Saturday morning to help.

I am replacing an old armoire with a new chest. The chest is a kind of mahogany color. I cannot move the armoire (why I'm replacing it), so I wanted to put something under the legs of the new chest to make it movable. I saw these on Amazon and nearly cheered. I measured the legs on my chest, just under 3 inches.
I put these slides under the legs of the chest and let them sit in place for about two weeks. By then, the legs had sunk into the slides. I then moved the chest from one end of my little place to the other with ease. I have to keep my chest in front of the closet where I store my out of season clothes. Twice a year, these slides will be very nice to have!

I bought these to slide my ottoman around easily and I had to take them off cause it slide so easily around! Lol. We also used to move a bed, excellent product to have around.
These are great! I have them under just about every piece of heavy furniture in the apartment. I can't always wait for help to move the credenza or the TV amoire but now I can move them myself. A great item!
Much nicer than those "sliders" you get in a multi-pack. These will definitely hold up for a long time. I'll be getting more.

I inherited a HUGE Chinese chest, so large I had to store it against a wall. But if I wanted to use it store things it meant I had to move it away from the wall to open it. These slides solved the problem. No matter how heavy the chest is, it moves easily. I bought a lot more slides for ALL my heavy furniture.
We have an extremely heavy entertainment center - before we got these slides we couldn't move the piece without two strong men. Now, with these slides, my wife and I can move the piece with a little effort, and it doesn't scratch our wood floor.
