We were searching for something inexpensive since we just bought a house, swimming pool, outdoor furniture, (the list just keeps going). My boyfriend wasn't so sure about this one (thanks to numerous reviews) until I reminded him that this wasn't meant to be permanent, just a cheap solution until we were less broke. So far we've used it about 8 times and we're very pleased. It works very well and no problems. The only problem we had was putting it together. You have to read the instructions at least once all the way through before you try to put it together. Then, still be prepared to possibly redo a couple things. The picture is wrong in the first part and changes later, so you might end up initially having it backward if your not attentive. However, the extra time putting it together was worth saving money. Overall, I'm very happy with it so far and would recommend it.

These heavy-duty PADDED twist ties are great to have for things you want to secure but that you don't want to scratch. They're super strong, but they're padded so they're easy to work with. We use these to secure the bimini when we put our boat up at the end of the day.

We use these to restrict our toddler's access to drawers, dish cabinets, and so forth. Just tie them around the drawer pulls and twist several times. Junior can't open drawers, rummage around, and then slam them shut.

They also work great on roof racks. It only takes a few minutes to completely secure lumber or furniture. No need to wrap a lot of rope or use ill-fitting bungee cords.

I bought these to twist into a crude Kindle Fire holder for my steering wheel. I have to wait between picking up kids at schools and usually sit and read on my Kindle for a half hour or so. I'd get a headache from bending my head down to read when the Kindle was in my lap, and there was no way to balance it on the steering wheel. I did some research to see what was available for book holders, and was fortunate enough to stumble across a youtube video that recommended buying one of these and twisting it to make one. It works perfectly!! Now the Kindle is at eye level and I don't get any strain when I'm reading. My son wanted the second one in the package because he said it was fun to play with. For the price, he can have it.
