KidKraft 65252 Majestic Dollhouse
We absolutely love this dollhouse!! I reviewed several dozen dollhouse options. I wanted something big enough that two or more kids could play at once. The kids love this and play with it daily!! It is very durable and not too difficult to put together. You need to follow the easy to read directions and use some common sense. However, do not think that this could be put together in one night. I worked on it 3 separate evenings, so it takes several hours.
I did have a few pieces that were scratched or damaged. However, I contacted the number in the directions and within days received a replacement at no cost or hassle to me! Customer service for KidKraft is wonderful!! They have one of the best customer service centers I have spoken to in a very long time! I highly recommend this dollhouse, it is worth the cost! If you feel this one is too big, KidKraft makes several other dollhouses. Great company, I would order from them again.

We purchased this for our daughter for Christmas and it's awesome. It's not too difficult to put together. The house is sturdy, and it even comes with screws to attach it to the wall for safety. The furniture it comes with is very cute and much sturdier than what I've seen at local retailers. It's the perfect size for Barbies. My favorite part is the house is very large. My daughter is 6 and pretty tall for her age but it's still taller than her. I'm happy about that because she will never be too big for it.
I had been watching this dollhouse for 3 years to buy for my youngest daughter (since my two oldest girls 18 and 14 were far to old to buy for them)! I was finally able to purchase it for my baby girl for her 3rd birthday. I was pleasantly surprised too see it's as big as it is, in fact, it's HUGE! The quality is GREAT and I got this beauty for $104 so I am one Happy Camper! Moms...you won't regret buying this dollhouse and Amazon has the best price by far. This dollhouse will definitely be an heirloom passed down to my granddaughters whenever my girls become mothers!
My eight year old granddaughter asked for the popular plastic barbie house for her birthday. While searching I found this beautiful wooden house,I let her decide which house she wanted and she chose the majestic doll house. My daughter in law put it together herself but not without frustration, now she claims it was well worth it. My granddaughter has spent hours playing with this house, it has become the must have toy for all her friends. I would add that the top floor is a beautiful baby nursery and evidently barbie babies are hard to find. I am going to order the caregiver barbie as a Christmas gift because it comes with a baby.
I just finished putting the house together, no problems. Well one peice of wood was split, so I used some wood glue. I used super saver shipping and got it in 5 days! It is so great to see there are still values out there. My daughter has not gotten this gift yet but she is sure to love it. I am a father of 3 girls, and this is the best quality toy item in a long time!!!!! Well worth the price! Anyone can put this together, but I would sugest if you have some one that's handy, have them help. Just in case you come up with a problem like I had with a split piece of wood. Still a very high quality product at a reasonable price. And yes it is PERFECT size for barbies. Since I got this earlier today I have been thinking of writing a review, and I NEVER do. I say buy this house and make your girl happy!! One weird thing I found is that the elevator is not as tall as a floor so that's a lil weird, but I'm still SO happy. I would and already have suggested this house to others!
I don't normally take the time to write a review and felt the need to on this KidKraft Majestic Mansion. We ordered this from Amazon before Christmas 2010 and including shipping it was less than $150.. What a STEAL :) - it shipped quickly and although assembly took 2 adults, 2+hours, pieces were marked numerically accordingly to assembly- overall wasn't too complicated. The furniture pieces that come with it fill the house nicely as one other owner stated. They are durable wood products with minimal assembly required. The elevator is slightly hard to maneuver up and down- light force is needed. I assume this so that it stays on the floor above and doesn't just glide down. The floors and wall are sturdy. This dollhouse easily accommodates 12" barbie dolls. Caution must be taken as this unit is heavy and can be easily tipped and an injury could occur. Overall this is ABSOLUTELY the cutest dollhouse- Worth every penny! My 7 year old daughter loves her "DREAM HOUSE". She isn't able to reach the top floor on her own- but nontheless, loves it!
