We were searching for something inexpensive since we just bought a house, swimming pool, outdoor furniture, (the list just keeps going). My boyfriend wasn't so sure about this one (thanks to numerous reviews) until I reminded him that this wasn't meant to be permanent, just a cheap solution until we were less broke. So far we've used it about 8 times and we're very pleased. It works very well and no problems. The only problem we had was putting it together. You have to read the instructions at least once all the way through before you try to put it together. Then, still be prepared to possibly redo a couple things. The picture is wrong in the first part and changes later, so you might end up initially having it backward if your not attentive. However, the extra time putting it together was worth saving money. Overall, I'm very happy with it so far and would recommend it.

I am not very good at grilling and my old grill was a piece of junk. I checked several grills and read many recommendations before purchasing this grill. Mine came perfect, not 1 scratch or piece missing. The ignitor button actually worked when it was time to try it. I have never been able to grill chicken and have it turn out good, until I bought THIS grill. I love it, I made my mom proud with my grilled chicken. I am now able to grill good food and have it turn out perfect. I really love that you don't need the bricks to burn with them. Clean up is very easy too. My BBQ sauce didn't even stick. I can not say enough good things about this grill.
This is one of the nicest grills for the price, yes a little hard to put togeather but well worth it at the end..Fires right up even cooking this is the grill to go with.
I don't normally write reviews but after seeing the one sided slanted review of this product I must retort. I helped my parents put this grill together after they ordered it and had no trouble at all. In response to the other review I must say "a bad carpenter always blames the tools rather than him/her self." Let's be honest, there is nothing fancy about this grill. My parents are older, and just wanted something simple to use to grill out every now and then. This grill has been perfect for them and they continue to bore my brother and I with their grilling success stories. If they were willing to take the time they would give it high marks so I am doing it for them.
An incredible grill for such a fair price and my son is hard to please...I would recommend it..I will probably buy one for myself this spring
Be prepared to have a little time on your hands to put this grill together, but the instructions are very clear and the size of the grill is perfect for my small back yard. The side burner is a HUGE plus. It took 3 hours to put together correctly and all parts and bolts were there. I usually do not write reviews but this grill is perfect for any back yard occasion.
For what your gonna pay this is a great grill. This will be summer #3 and it is still cooking up a storm. I used it all through the winters, and it still works great. The handle has loosened and some of the paint is peeling but for the price what a steal. I live in an apartment house and refuse to buy an expensive grill for others to steal or ruin. I'm very happy with this cheaply grill
Great grill for the price, plenty of room to cook, easy to use. Not a Cadillac but for $120 we are more than pleased. This is the 3rd Charbroil we have owned in the last 15 or so years and are as happy with this one as the other 2.

Have been using my Char-Broil for two weeks and love it. Previously had the smaller version (without side burner), which cost only $30 less. For the small increase in price, the surface area is much better. Please note that you do have to be fairly handy to assemble this product. It has many pieces and the instruction manual while quite good has some ambiguous drawings. One very positive thing with regard to assembly, the screws, nuts, etc. are well labeled and in a tray pack that makes it easy to locate what you need.
