Fleabusters Rx Fleas Plus

I used to be a professional groomer and at my shop we always suggested to our customers that they use Fleabuster's powder in their homes. As a previous reviewer wrote, if you do it annually you'll never have a flea problem. Do it in the spring to prepare for summer. Fleas live in your home, they only jump onto pets and humans to feed, so if you can actually see fleas on your pet you can bet your behind there are many, many more living in your home. Even if you don't have bites, this means nothing. Fleas rarely bite me but love my husband and 2 yr. old son.

When applying this powder use a respirator and goggles and wear pants and shoes, after the dust has settled it's ok to walk on it, but get as much as possible in the carpet.

If fleas have already infested your home use Hartz Ultraguard spray on carpets and furniture first; this doesn't kill adult fleas but does stop eggs, larvae, and pupae from reaching the adult stage. Fleabuster's powder does take about 2 weeks to take full effect, but is indeed worth the wait and really does last for a year or more. Also wash all pet bedding frequently and vacuum vacuum vacuum every single day after the powder has settled in until it takes effect. Put a flea collar in your vacuum bag/canister to kill live adults that have been sucked up.

If you make the environment where fleas actually live (yard and carpet) inhospitable you'll never have a real flea problem. I do not recommend using the very expensive and highly toxic Advantage drops at all.

We have bombed, sprayed, and used powders...I just cannot get rid of them!!! We have hardwood floors with large rugs in some places. We have 2 cats who mainly stay outside, and a new puppy who is never really outside. She is 9 weeks old. I have been looking up and trying so many different things, does anyone have any secrets?

My grandma runs an animal shelter, and every summer fleas get everywhere. Keep in mind, this is about 90 - 100 cats and multiple dogs, not "a few" --> so regular solutions won't really do it. Eucalyptus is harmful to cats, and there's not enough time in the day to borax or diatomaceous everything, everyday. Anything that can be done would help, thanks!

or am I likely to get the same results by vacuuming and using spray from home depot. I'm just wondering if it is worth the money.

I have a dog and an indoor cat, and they both have fleas. We bathe the dog regularly, and we have started using a flea comb on both of them. The fleas are now in my area rug. We have used a spray in the past, but I had surgery in April, and my skin has become super sensitive. The last time we used the spray, I broke out in a rash. Is there anything I can use to spray on the furniture, carpet, and hardwood floors? What can I do to repel the fleas afterward? What is the safest and most cost-effective method?
