I have bought the Dura-grip brand in two different sizes and can't believe what a life changer!!!. I have a heavy sofa and big husband. Our sofa was on hardwood floors and not up against the wall. Additionally, the sofa had very square, large "feet". These pads held our sofa in place and protected the hardwood from scratching and were big enough for the large sofa feet. We then moved and our basic metal bed frame for king bed gave me the same problem, (big husband and hardwood floors). So I bought these in 2"round and they saved the day again. I also put them under a swivel chair with round metal base and they are working like a charm. I love these things.
Things I would have liked to know. They are thicker than I expected (1/2"), so you need to make sure you have a pad for every part of the furniture that touches the floor.

These are essentially pieces of felt that prevent the furniture from sliding on wood floors. Good product -- easy to use and functional.
Wow, nothing moves anymore on our hardwood. These things are excellent. I was a bit hesitant as they seem pricey, but since less expensive options proved ineffective and the reviews were good I gave them a try. Wow do they work. Heck, I can jump into the smallest parts of our sectional and it doesn't budge.
As other reviewers pointed out they are thick pads and not that attractively colored. Trimming and coloring might be in order in a visible setting if you are fussy about what the feet on the furniture looks like. In my case I'm just happy I found something that actually works and works really well.
These were just what I needed to stop my couch from marking up the floor and keep it from moving. I bought the 4 inch square version for just a buck or two more, and cut two of them into eight 2x2 squares. Now there's still 6 left to use on other furniture. Regular scissors worked just fine, as they're a carpet center with rubber on each side.
I used these on our couches in the living room that are on hardwood floors. I had felt pad on them but they slid around too easily. I put these pads on and the couches don't move at all, they work great, and with no sticky pad, just put them under your items. They are very thick and I am glad I bought the smaller 2' ones so you can't see them once installed. I had tried some other ones that were useless, these are great.
I tried sticky pads on the very small feet of our sliding sofa to no effect. These glueless pads, however, are easier, neater and work beautifully.
Was a little cautious. They are pricey for sure. Tried many other solutions from the 'box store' and nothing held the couch in place. These things work great! Took a couple tries to get them broken in but once they grip, that's it.
Does everything the advertisement says it will and a fair price. I will recommend this product to anyone who needs stabilization of their furniture on hardwood floors as we did.
I have a wood bed frame on wood floors that would just slide all over the place.. My bed frame is light and would always slide away from the wall and all my pillows would fall between the wall and my bed.. These work great! My bed hasn't moved since I put them in place.. it is like my bed is stuck to the floor.. takes a lot of strength to move my bed now..
