SqueakAIR Balls Extra Small Yellow

I have seen some of the negative reviews and honestly I am not having the problems with these that other people have. I have an adopted Aussie who requires about 2 hours of exercise per day. These are his absolute favorite toys. We throw them, abuse them, hose them off and dry them in the sun, etc. and they just keep lasting and lasting. Plus, they make a great training tool. I have neighbors with untrained dogs who get at the fence and bark, and I can easily redirect my Aussie to ignore them just by squeaking one of these. I have purchased tennis balls from PetCo and PetSmart and have had problems with those falling apart (the cardboard on the inside collapses). The only other option would be Chuck-Its, which seem to last a pretty long time, but they are heavier and my active, leaping dog prefers the lighter Kongs for catching and retrieval. My dog doesn't chew on these, just plays with them and squeaks them, so I suppose that is why they are lasting so long for us. So I would say these are great for retrieval and play, not so great for dogs who like to chew.

When they say "extra small" they mean it. These balls are a little smaller than a golf ball.
They are too small for my dog, but my parrot is enjoying them. I'm rating the product five stars, because it's my fault I didn't read the measurements. I did want to point out that they are tiny!
Somehow I missed that these were extra small balls. I got a kick out of it when I pulled them out of the box. HA! I thought that my pit bull mix might swallow one like the dog from the movie Snatch and then just become a giant squeaky toy herself.
HOWEVER ... she loves them, like she loves all squeaky toys. Unlike the regular-sized ones, she can actually CHEW on these. And it is taking her longer to demolish than most toys. (It has been almost five minutes and she's still chewing on the first one.) Hurray for Kong products!
My daughter has a lab-shar-pei mix that can destroy almost anything -- execept these balls! She loves them -- and gets a kick out of them when they squeak! They're her favorite toy!
These are great toys...our golden loves them, but a canister of 3 balls is only $3.00 at Target!!
My 7lb pup can't fit a regular sized tennis ball in his mouth(although he tries very hard!), so after I read some of the reviews for this I decided to try it out. These things are great! They bounce, squeek, and my dog can carry them around in his mouth. I love that you get three because I've already lost one to either the couch or entertainment center. Kong is the best dog toy maker!
If you have a tiny dog with a tiny mouth, this is the perfect toy for your pet. It makes them feel like a big dog with a tennis ball. I have a toy poodle and her little mouth could not get a hold of a tennis ball to save her life, but she acts like the Air Kong Squeaker is the real thing. Plus it makes a squeaky noise to attract the pet's attention. All in all a great find for little ones!
My dog (a toy fox terrier) usually gets bored with toys after about 15 minutes but these little balls have kept him happy for days on end he actually fell asleep with it last night. The squeeker does break really fast but he doesn't seem to mind he keeps chasing and chewing them till he shreds all the yellow fuzz off and I take it away. A must have for toys who love to chase!
I have just ordered my second pack of these. My dog is approximately 40 pounds, about 2 years old, and is moderately destructive with toys. She LOVES these squeaky balls. The first three haven't really even been destroyed yet, they just kind of get lost in the yard or under furniture, so I decided to order another pack so that they're always around. It's never difficult to get her to play fetch with these, they are definitely in the top favorite toys list. I could see the possibility of quicker destruction if you have a more mammoth dog, so as one consumer to another, I might not expect the squeakers to last quite as long with a bigger dog - but then again I don't know. My roommate has been dog sitting a full size lab, and she hasn't managed to destroy these toys yet either, so...My unique experience has been great. I definitely recommend this product, just keep in mind the size and behaviors of your individual dog when selecting toys. Oh, and for reference, the "medium" size balls are about the same size as standard tennis balls.
