I first read this book in 5th or 6th grade, and it still ranks as one of my favorite books, even though I am in high school. I believe that Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH is a book that can be enjoyed by children as well as adults. An adult would certainly get more meaning out of the book as it deals with many issues such as animal testing, and even genetic engineering that younger readers would not understand. The plot seems simple enough at first, a widowed mouse seeks help to save her youngest son who is deathly ill and cannot be exposed to the chilled winter air, but in this quest for help, Mrs. Frisby uncovers many secrets about her late husband's past, and his association with a mysterious group of super-intelligent rats, the Rats of NIMH. The entire book is wonderful and there is never a dull moment. The ending is by far the best part of the book, as it will keep on the edge of your seat for many pages. Enjoy!

I purchased this product for a family member who is wheel chair bound. It is perfect - lightweight and does the job as promised. We have been very pleased and the family member has insisted I let others know how satisfied we are. We have actually bought additional ramps since we bought this one - for other thresholds. All are just as promised.
I installed these for my elderly mother who is a bit heavyset to be able to drive her Hoverround electric scooter on and off her screen porch. I was pleased to find these to be extremely tough and sturdy and easy to assemble.
The 6" ramp is just what is needed to help my aged father negotiate a sunken den threshold with his wheeled walker. The ramp went together very easy and has an extension at the top to make the transition from the floor to the ramp very easy.
this ramp is very well built to handle most any cargo to tram across it. I use it to wheel truck dollys loaded with cabinetry and furniture across it daily. It is a simple assembly and though it doesn't really effect much of anything, I wish the one locking assembly screw was flush with the surface of the ramp, for a cleaner look.
We use this every day in our commercial kitchen to bridge the gap between the floor and our walk-in fridge. It can take the abuse of hundreds of pounds of goods being rolled on a cart. If it survives our kitchen I can't see how any regular person would break it.
