Dyson Flatout Head Tool

Dyson Flatout Head Tool

I've been using a Dyson Turbinehead for about a year now, the vacuum works far better than the several that it replaced. The one downfall is that in a house that is entirely hard surface flooring with a few area rugs, the included "turbine head" isn't perfect. The turbine powered beater bar just serves as a way to block the airflow, in our case the beater (that is turned off 90% of the time to prevent scratching of the hardwoods) acts as a catch for all of the cat hair and I would have to stop and unclog it or turn on the beater bar to clear it.

This tool works great, it fits under our sofas, tables, chairs, media stands, beds, and everything else that you'd expect. It is easier to navigate, it is light weight, and functions great. I just think Dyson should include it on more of their "kits" than they do, as it is really an essential tool if you have mostly hardwood, tile, or other smooth surface flooring.

This tools reaches under everything in your houses without moving any furniture. A must have for any home with a Dyson vacuum.

This tool really does go flat. My queen bed is against the wall, and the flat out reaches all the way to the wall and keeps flat to the floor for powerful suction. It also goes all the way under my furniture, which varies from 2-3" off the floor. I have an upright Dyson, and it works as a hose attachment. The handle on the hose turns to the side to reach under really low items. If you don't like switching from hose to regular you could easily vacuum your whole floor with this one tool. It works especially well on hard wood and low pile rugs because it's so flat to the floor that it has very powerful suction. I wouldn't recommend it on high pile rugs.

Very useful for low rise areas like under couches, cabinets and beds. The attachment is worth every penny! Multiple adjustments make it easy to reach under any furniture.

'Flat Out' is the perfect name for this thing. It gets FLAT. Perfect for getting under the bed. I have a DC14, works great with the included adapter. Solves the biggest problem I have with my Dyson... not being able to reach under furniture.

I was doubtful of ordering this but I'm glad I did. I have cats so vacuuming furballs is a necessary evil. This tool definitely makes it easier to get under the bed and furniture where the fur seems to collect the most. It alleviates the need to move furniture to get under it.

I am very pleased I purchased this Dyson accessory. I felt fortunate to find it available through Amazon - I received a very good value for my investment, it arrived quickly and I didn't have to pay for shipping! I highly recommend the Flat Out Tool - it has removed so much of the aggravation I used to experience gaining access to low and deep previously challenging nooks and crannies. It is sturdily constructed, but very lightweight, and allows me to work farther, faster. You can't beat that!

I bought this for doing the tile and vinyl floors and also, in reading reviews, read how it worked well under low furniture...I was thinking getting under my bed with it. It worked great on the tile and vinyl floors and on the carpet under my bed.
