We just bought a house that has a nice looking linoleum floor. We also bought a couch and loveseat that scoots around that floor like it's greased. After reading a number of reviews, I decided to give these a go. I wanted round, whereas the feet to our furniture are round, but round was out of stock. I purchased square instead and used scissors to cut them to fit our loveseat and couch. It's a pretty tough, fiberous material but can be cut- with a bit of effort- with household scissors.
We have had them in place for several weeks now, and I'm extremely pleased so far. We have two daughters (9 and 12) as well as an 8 month old lab puppy. Neither the loveseat nor the couch has budged so much as an inch so far, and it's not like we're being cautious in sitting down.
I don't know if it would do as well with other combinations of flooring and furniture footing materials, but it works great with linoleum and wood feet.

Having had wood flooring installed last year, we had been struggling with a way to keep our sectional from shifting around whenever people sat on it. These little wonders solve that problem. The only thing that would make the furniture move around less would be to nail it to the floor. Since we have installed them, the couch hasn't moved an inch. They are also fantastic for bed frames. I cut them into smaller squares and placed them under the bed frame rollers and what used to be a wobbly, slippery bed to get into is now as solid as a rock. Just make sure to thoroughly clean before putting them down so there isn't any dirt or debris trapped under them that might abrade the floor -- that's the only real advice I have. These are worth every penny.
I have brand new hardwood floors and have been worried about scratching them. This product is fabulous. It's durable and easy to use. My sofa and loveseat don't slide around anymore and better yet, no more scratching to worry about.

We have hardwood floors and our couches used to slide all over. We put these pads under the couch feet and they haven't moved an inch since.
I looked EVERYWHERE for something to keep our couch from sliding around on our wood floors. Finally, I ran across these on Amazon. We have thick legs on our couch and these are large enough to fit underneath them. And they work like a charm. Even when our kids run and jump on the couch, it doesn't move! Definitely recommend this product!
I had given up on finding any product capable of stopping my couch from sliding all over my wood floor. I have a toddler/whirlwind and when she goes to bed at night my couch is practically across the room. I had come to believe that gluing my couch to the floor was my only solution. I decided I would not let my couch win this fight so I came to Amazon and found the Dura-Grips. I read the reviews and was a bit sceptical as most proclaim these little squares to be miracle workers. I bought them in a desperate grab for a solution. They arrived swiftly and yes, they are great. I am somewhat persnickety about things doing what I need/want them to do and I notice when something is out of place; my couch has not moved. There are two things I have noticed, they are bit unsightly so if your couch has no skirt (like mine) you will see them. In my world appreances are less important than my couch not moving three inches when someone sits down. The other thing is in order to vacuum under my couch I have to remove the squares which is what I wanted, so it's not really a problem. At the risk of sounding like a shill I wholeheartedly encourage anyone who has given up on the dream of static furniture, to try this product.
I have very large sofas to include a chase; however, they are very light and slide apart on our linoleum floors....we have tried everything from concealing bathroom rugs to the foam you line your dish cabinets with....nothing works and it is very annoying as our sofas are sectionals and they are supposed to stay together...I came across these on Amazon and as soon as I got them was eager to see if the reviews were accurate.
I am so happy!!! Even pushing on my couches they do not move...now I can lay across them without sliding through the cracks! Thank you! I have already told my sister and a few of my friends about this wonderful discovery!
We have been frustrated with our sectional moving around on our wood floors now for over a year. We have tried many products to stop the couch from moving but nothing had worked so far. So we took a chance on these furniture grips and were truly amazed. The couch won't budge! Highly recommend this to everyone have the same difficulties.
These pads work great. I am using them under my sofa and loveseat on a hardwood floor. The furniture is staying in place. I am so happy with this product's performance, I plan to order another set.
