GearWrench 80061 Piece Material Screwdriver
I researched this brand, as my daughter purchased a very nice desk and table that was surprisingly, upon receipt, higher quality than expected. I was happy to find this dining set, as it was perfect for my mother's little assisted living apartment. The chairs are good quality; hardware, finish, and construction. They are study, but not too heavy for her to lift or move them. The seat length is perfect for those of shorter stature. The table is beautiful and good construction. I love the wood grain!
Assembly; All the hardware and tools to assemble are included - except a medium sized Phillips needed for the chair crossbar reinforcements. The first chair was a bit slow in assembly. The second was put together in 1/4 the time. The table was very easy and quick to assemble.
Packaging; The chairs were packaged in one box with proper packaging and foam and corrugated paper for protection. The table was not packaged well in my opinion. It could have had better reinforcement and foam for protection. Mine was actually received open with the foam on one corner all crushed. Initial inspection seemed fine, so I accepted the damaged box. Upon inspection during assembly, no damage. The seller should consider better packaging for the table.
My mother loves her little apartment table. My mother and two elderly aunts enjoyed watching, and laughing at, my assembly progress.
I highly recommend this dining set for the quality and price. I will be searching for more Winsome furniture products on amazon.com.
NEW TO PREVIOUS REVIEW: My mother has received so many compliments on this dining set. The set is very sturdy. She was afraid she would not be able to lift the chairs due to her age and lack of arm strength - not a problem. ~ Still love it! (10/15/2011)

Pozidriv screws are not common in household or hobby use but they are common in factory assemblies. This set fills a unique need when faced with Pozidriv screws. The smallest driver in the set looks large but works fine with M1.6 metric screws.
After struggling to build about half of a large ikea wardrobe using a Phillips screwdriver, I found out what was really needed was a pozi drive screwdriver! These aren't very common in the US, at least they weren't available anywhere I checked. I ordered these on amazon and when I finally used them I noticed a huge difference! Building the rest of the wardrobe with a pozi drive seemed almost effortless. Everything fit perfectly and I was no longer stripping the screws. I highly recommend these if you are building anything from ikea!
I was leery about them because they were so inexpensive. Not now. If I had to guess, I think they are made by the same company that makes Craftsman's professional grade tools. They look just like them, only without the "name". Very pleased with my purchase.
As a computer engineer I use Pozi Drive screwdrivers exclusively. They are similar to but not the same as Philips head screwdrivers. These particular ones work well; are good quality; and have a tip that holds the screw for easy placement. The price is right too ! I highly recommend them. Shipping was also timely.
Well, my American Muscle car, a 2002 Pontiac Trans Am does not have any pozi screws. However, i am a chemist and perform regular maintenace on various Agilent GCs (6890s and 7890s. These drivers are the best and $10.95 waws a hell of a deal for the set of 4. I have tons of tools and I work on my TA but no Pozi Drives so this was a great find. Guess now I can keep my job and my car. LOLZ !!!!!!!!
Excellent quality. Durable. Convenient. Although rarely used, this tool has specific application and is the only proper tool to use for Pozi drive head fasteners.
Got this set of screwdrivers to assemble Ikea furniture. Could not find Pozidriv drivers at the local stores. I don't use these heavily, but for my purposes, and the price, these are just fine. It's nice to have the right tool for the job.
Most British Sports Cars from the 1960's used Pozidrive fasteners. They appear to be Phillips headed, but a standard Phillips driver may "turn out" from the screw head, usually causing damage to the slots. These Pozidrive drivers have a comfortable handle, are well-made and work well with any Austin Healey, MG, Triumph or Jaguar with Pozidrive fasteners.
I bought these because I work on test equipment, particularly HP, that use the Pozidriv hardware. Trying to use a regular Phillips screwdriver on Pozidriv fasteners is an invitation to stripped screw heads, chewed up screwdrivers, and bloody messes when the screwdriver slips out of the screw and goes somewhere painful. This set is well built, durable, inexpensive, and has real Pozidriv tips.
