I was happy to discover that the threaded part is indeed industry-standard in diameter and screws right into the threaded hole in my chair. What I didn't know was that the hole in my chair might not be industry-standard in LENGTH, if there is such a standard at the global level of the furniture construction industry. I just kept screwing in the Leg Daddy because I didn't feel any resistance that I thought I'd come to when I reached the end of the hole. All of a sudden the threaded screw on the Leg Daddy punched through the exterior of the plastic leg bottom. Oops, guess I went too far. I just unscrewed it a bit so the screw was not sticking out and there appears to be no harm done. Turned the chair upright and the legs are functioning well. I love their look and strength.
