I purchased this chest for our nursery. The drawer system is great that only one drawer can be open at a time, prevents little climbers. Yes the unit is heavy, hard to move - but that is good quality materials. I assembled on our living room floor - 8 months pregnant. It was tough, time consuming but I took my time and made sure every screwdriver turn was tight and solid. The unit is heavy and hard to move, but again, sturdy. I am waiting for this to go on sale to buy another for the master and also purchase the armoire. I am totally pleased with this. I paid $110 for the chest(sale at local retail store)and couldn't imagine paying hundreds more at a furniture store.

Just happy that its sturdy and has a modern look. It took me about 2 days to put it together....but it came out great!
This items is a great quality and I think it will last for a while. I love all the features. It did take the better part of a day to install (I have an engineering degree and am mechanically inclined, but there are lots of parts and care is needed in assembly). Would buy from this manufacturer again. I broke a part and they shipped the replacement at no cost in a timely manner.
I actually had to return it. The color shown in the description was just what I wanted, however the actual wood was much darker.
Great product very heavy and time consuming to put together but I love it. Took about two hours to put together but it looks lovely I'm very happy with this purchase.
Good quality, woul dlike to point out the fact that the top drawer is NOT 3 seperate draws but instead just a single draw (same as the drawers below it) just the outside design is different.
As others described, it does take a few solid hours to assemble, but was not too complex. A bit confusing at times, but nothing that can't be figured out. I got this to match a current bedroom set in an espresso color wood with similar handles, and this fits in very well. It is heavy, though, so be prepared to lug 120+ lbs in your house after the UPS man brings it to your door. I'm very satisfied with it. Very sturdy. Packaged well -- not a scratch on it.
