Designer Catbox Litter Enclosure Espresso

This is a really clever way to hide a litter box. It is small enough to fit in our apartment but doesn't make it difficult for the cat to get in and out. Our kitten started using it right away (she was about 4 months old when we got it). She had no problem finding her way in and using the box. We put her food on top to keep away from the dog. Our friends didn't know it was a litter box, they just assumed it was a new piece of furniture.
It's very easy to put together - took maybe 15 minutes. The only complaint about that would be that the lid on ours is a little uneven so when the kitten jumps on or off it there is a loud bang. That can be taken care of with a little bumper, though.
Also, this is not something that is going to mask odor...it's just a box. But it does contain the litter very well. I'd suggest getting one of the litter rugs for the entrance to catch any litter there.

I love this litter box. I have wanted one for a long time, but they were not affordable. Thank you for making one that was. I also love the hydraulic hinge. It is almost black in color and it looks like an end table or a small bench no one knows what it is unless I tell them. Also, one of the cats is around 13 years old and she used it right away.
This is by far the best cat box available. There is a tremendous reduction in tracted litter and odor. I have the Espresso and the White. The white is a bit more sturdy in my opinion and I like the finish better but the espresso is a good match for the room I have it in so I am hapy with it as well. Another reviewer suggested caulking the seams and using a puppy training pad under the cat litter box inside. I did both just in case it was needed but our three cats have not missed the boxes. It can't hurt, just in case though. These catboxes are my favorite items I have bought from Amazon (and I buy a lot). Great buy. Great product.
I got the litter box to use in the guest bedroom. I had read lots of reviews on other litter houses and found this the best and largest. It is very sturdy!! The cats love it and use it more than their other open one. I am now considering getting another box. I did not put the divider in cause I wanted to use the larger litter box inside. So I still get some litter outside but still much neater than having an open litter pan. It is a nice piece of "furniture" and I found my cat sitting on top of it the other day. I would highly recommend it. It certainly looks nicer than a regular litter box with all the litter and "presents" exposed. My house is a very open design and thus an exposed litter box is not a pleasant experience for guests or for me.
We have two kitties and finding a place for the litter box is always a pain. But this allows us to have it in a place that the door will not get shut and they can't get to it. This is perfect, its easy to put together, you can choose what side you want the entrance on. And it makes it so my dogs can't get into it! I highly recommend this item!!!
Like another reviewer I purchased this box to use in a guest bedroom. My three cats took to it right away with no hesitation, in fact they all had fun checking out their new box as we assembled it. The door openings are large enough to accomodate my large male cat and although we can no longer use our extra large pan, the cats have no issue with using a smaller one that fits perfectly inside. There is even a convenient hook inside the door for storing the scoop. The offset doors keep our dogs from poking their heads in and also has dramatically decreased the amount of litter that gets tracked out. We are considering installing a little hook on the lid to keep the dogs from lifting the lid. I also want to mention that although it looks like a bench, it is not meant for a person to sit on, it makes a great place for a cat bed though! I would definitely recommend this to anyone with a cat, it fits in nicely with my decor and in no way looks like a catbox at first glance. It comes packaged very well with each piece wrapped to keep it from being scratched. Assembly was simple and the instructions were the best we have seen.
I purchased this box after acquiring a second cat. I already had a box in the bathroom for my older boy and needed something that can blend in well with my living space without looking too obvious as a litter box. This chest/hidden litter box fit those criteria perfectly. First of all, it looks identical to the pictures you see on-line. Some people commented on how the box could have been bigger, but I do not think that it's too small for a grown cat. With the divider inside, it fits a standard litter box just fine, which is the very box my cats were using before this purchase. The height is appropriate as well. My oldest weighs 11 lbs and he fits into the chest without difficulties. My biggest concern was quality of this item. I have high-end furniture in my home and was worried that this box would stand out too much (defeating its purpose) if it was poorly made. I do agree that it's not made with high-end craftsmanship, but there are no obvious flaws either. My box was evenly stained and looks great. There were some small chips in espresso finish on the edge of the lid... an easy fix with a stain marker. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this hidden litter box and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an attractive and discrete kitty bathroom :)
We love this cat box! It was easy to put together and it is pretty sturdy. We faced the opening toward the wall in the foyer. No one can believe it is a cat box! Even people who hate cats comment on how nice it is. The hinge on the back is also nice because it holds the top open while you scoop it out. I am thinking about buying a second one because it is so great. Absolutely worth the money.

I am so happy that I purchased this litter box. For years I have had to lock all of the litter boxes behind Dog gates to keep my Beagle Mix from helping himself to a little afternoon snack while I was at work. The inside divider is just the right size to keep him from being able to reach in and help himself. I love the fact that it has a top latch. It is so easy to clean. Some previous reviewers have complained that some cats will pee on the side or floor. I found that placing a "piddle-type pad" under the litter box will alleviate a lot of the problem. The box took me about 40 minutes to put together working alone. all the parts were there and the directions were not complicated. I placed mine in the downstairs foyer and the cats soon figured out what it was. I placed a corner style litter box inside with the opening facing the archway in the internal divider and it fit great.
