At first I was a little skeptical, but now that they have been on a week, they really do work well!
I had to have another person hold each cat, as I was putting on the nails (and yes, they did squirm and howl, but I think it was just because they did not care to be held that much...one cat even tried to bite me, but at least he can no longer scratch!)
I picked my school colors black and red and the size medium fit all three of my cats( one is 5 pounds, 8 pounds, and 13 pounds.)
I gave my cat a bath today, and they did not come off in the water, and he could not scratch me (dispite his efforts)
Basically, I am extremely happy with them and will no longer be woken up by my cats scratching my bedposts in the morning. It is more humane for the cats, and they do not seem to care at all! I can't even see the nails when they are retracted.
