Elite Screens F100XWV1 ezCinema Projection
one of my many presentation tool. Since I am doing presentation a lots, so this become an important equipment tool for my daily usage. this screen come with a nice design, and it is easy to use, just pull and stay up, plus a travel bag to store, it cost a little more then other simple type, but it worth of buy. whenever I go to customer side, I just simply place at corner , pull up ( that is it) and turn on projector , connect to my laptop, 1 min. done !!, quick and easy.
the only suggestion I will want is a lager then 100" for my presentation to more people in the room, but the temp. solution by using elite other series, that one do need a little extra work, a telescoping type. overall I like my screen.
Oh, one more thing, the travel bag can be better if they make it opener from both side. no big deal. overall is good.

As a wedding cinematographer, one of the most popular concepts in wedding films in the past few years has been the Same Day Edit - where you film the pre-ceremony and ceremony and edit together a short film of the day to show to guests at the wedding reception. Rather than relying on the bride and groom to provide a projector or screen I purchased this Elite Screens 80 inch screen. It is portable and looks extremely professional when setup. Even better, the projected image (that's what really matters) looks great on it! It is MUCH BETTER than projecting onto a wall. I originally wanted to 100 inch screen but it would not fit in my car so I had to go with the 80 inch. Even with that, it still sticks through my trunk into my backseat and between the driver and passenger seats. Be aware that the case is larger than the screen when fitting it for your car.
For something so large, setup could not be easier! One person can have it setup in less than a minute. It comes in nice yet cheaply made bag (more on that later) and is folded in on itself with a metal casing and handle. It's not too heavy but you must be aware of where you are walking when carrying it because you will no doubt hit someone or a wall if you don't. Once the metal snaps are undone you simply place the aluminum rod in its vertical holder and slide up the screen.
The 16:9 aspect ratio fits my 1080p wedding videos perfectly. If youre projector isn't HD you should look at getting a 4:3 or 1:1 screen instead.
Now about the bag... The screen comes in a black canvas fitted bag that has quite possibly the cheapest zippers I've ever seen. Upon first unzipping one snapped off in my hand. The zipper clasps are made of an extremely brittle metal - just expect them to break within the first 10 seconds of owning the screen. This is not a deal breaker though because the screen is still completely encased in the much better made metal enclosure. I still slip the bag over the case to make sure it doesn't scratch the case but honestly the bag is pretty awful otherwise. The bag is not enough for this screen itself to not be 5 stars though.
// Pros //
- Portable
- Great Image/Much better than a wall
- Solid Metal case
- Looks professional when setup
// Cons //
- The bag it comes in has awful zippers.
- Potential to tip if pushed hard enough. Just make sure your kids don't run into it or anything.
In summary - this is the most portable projector screen I have ever used and is perfect for my needs as a wedding cinematographer.
The screen is quite large, but is very sturdy. I have had it for months now and find that it is relatively easy to pull the screen up from the case and attach to the support rod. There is no sagging and the picture reflects from the projector nicely.
Even though it is large, I have not had a problem storing it when not in use because it rolls down into the case with consistant tension and can be put against the wall on the floor.

This is the best screen I've ever used for my digital photo presentations at remote locations. It's portable in one convenient tube form. Rotate the "feet" at the bottom of the housing, unlatch the clamshell and pull the screen up. Nothing could be easier.
Having researched projectors almost to death, I finally decided on a Panasonic PT-AX200U but had done very little research on screens. Well I found a great site for information projectorcentral.com, which had very good information, but was looking at spending $1k for a screen, but since I live in an apartment I was hesitant on it. Also, you must really do your homework with the screen size and throw distance, as my projector is 20 feet away from the screen.
So, searching around I stumbled into this screen, absolutely perfect for my needs, it is very portable and easy to set up. It was very well packaged when it arrived. There is a bit of "cupping" on both edges of the screen, with the room lights on and from the side you can see it, but I have not been able to notice any distortion with pictures projected to the screen. Also, the screen is a bit fussy rolling back into the carry case, the spring just does not have enough pull. Both of these are the only faults I can find so far, and even at that they are minor. As for brightness, which I was very concerned about with, the screen is bright white, and probably throws back ~1.0 of the light, so during the mid afternoon glare is a problem. I suppose I need curtains...
All in all, for the price, and for the size, this was an awesome find! I could not be happier.
This screen is great. It's very lightweight and functional. When my office needs a screen at one of the off sites we just grab this one, throw it in the car, drive over, pop it up, and go. Our old screen never gets used anymore. It's so bulky and can't compare to just how easy this one is to use.
After battling with a 120-inch tripod screen, my family decided to give this EZ Cinema screen a try. Let's just say the tripod battles are over! We do plan to move things around our family room in the future, so we definitely wanted a portable-style screen in the first place.
We simply can't say enough about this item - the screen set-up time is right around 30 seconds flat. Seriously. The black "bottom" is made of very sturdy aluminum-type material, and we simply leave the "bar" sitting on the floor at all times. The two little "feet" swing out for more support, four suitcase-style snaps are opened, two support bars are easily inserted into the back base area, and you pull the screen up. That's all there is to it! Now we have awesome 150-inch images in our family room with ultimate ease.
Though made by the same company, we think this 150-inch screen has a better image than the tripod one did. HD is amazing, but even SD images or DVDs from our projector are breathtaking. Couple that with the ultra-easy set-up (and take-down), and we're happy campers! Bravo, Elite Screens!
P.S. Just keep in mind the measurements for this item - it's a LOOOOOOONG piece of equipment! We actually brought it in through a family room window, as it was far too long for swinging around doorways and such in our house.
Previously, I had been projecting on my white wall in my bed room (ViewSonic Pro8200). At first, I didn't have any issues or complaints. Key words: "At first." Slowly, but surely, the texture of my walls grew from goose-bumps to valleys and peaks on panning scenes. The light over-spray from Pro8200 seemingly began to be the only thing that I saw. Something had to be done.
So I purchased the ezCinema Plus (F100XWH1). It was an instant remedy for the panning images. The black borders completely eliminated the over-spray of light. Furthermore, the ezCinema Plus corrected an issue that I didn't even know that I had: color accuracy. Scenes are bright, vivid, and have great contrast.
I now place this screen in front of my closet, well, because I can. The scissor-backed mechanism in the back is easy, quick, and sturdy. I'd recommend this screen to my mother, and that's saying a lot!
