Kreg screws are great for their intended purpose of making pocket-hole joints in woodwork, and the Kreg system of joinery is indeed all it's cracked up to be in terms of strength and ease of use, but I have found myself using the screws in all sorts of other wood-fastening applications, anywhere you want to fasten two boards together. The 1.25" screws are just right for lapping one 3/4" board onto another, and the 2.5" ones work well for 2x4s, etc. You can use them in any application where you don't mind the washer head showing, or you can use the Kreg-supplied drill bit to countersink the heads for filling in with wood filler. The great advantage of these screws is that their self-tapping tips are significantly less likely to split smaller wood pieces than are conventional wood screws. Also, they are easy-driving and very strong. Having used quite a few in various sizes now on several projects, I have yet to strip one of the square-drive heads or break one.

This is the first one that consistently drives nails to the correct depth leaving a clean non puckered small hole in mdf without giving us problems. We run 5 to 10 thousand two inch nails a week through this gun. After a couple months its still operating well with no problems. If this gun holds up well for a couple more months we will be completely retireing our remaining Hitachi, Ridgid, and Bostitch guns. One nice thing about this gun is it will shoot any type of nail you run through it fast and without problems. The Bostitch guns will leave a clean hole and drive to consistent depth but run anything other than Porter Cable or Bostitch nails and they have all sorts of problems. Considering we can order generic nails for less than half the price online this gun will pay for itself quickly.

I like the desk itself, however, one of the drawer slide supports was not attached to the underside of the desk, so we have no way of attaching the keyboard drawer without that. I need to find out how to contact the company to ask how to attach that support, as it looks like it was supposed to already be attached. If I can get that resolved, I think I will really like and use the desk.
Update: Received a replacement desk and will ship the defective one back. The replacement is just perfect. Thanks so much Amazon and supplier, like this one a lot.
What I especially like is that you can either use it for desktop pc or laptop. Because the keyboard drawer has an inch or so of room to spare, a laptop can slide into the drawer and closed out of sight - can attach the power supply plug from behind the drawer which is open. This gives room above the desk for other projects. I have learned that I prefer real wood, will never buy the engineered wood or pressboard anything. This was exactly what I wanted, it has good value, and natural wood. I appreciate that.

Strathwood Griffen Chaise Lounge Natural
I have the Strathwood couch, coffee table and side table. This is now my favorite piece. The chaise is extremely comfortable and the plastic wicker holds up very nicely to weather. The back can be elevated to nearly 90 degrees or it can lay flat as an outdoor daybed or even a flat couch for extra seating. The cushion itself is all one piece with a "hinge" in the middle. There is a tie in the back to afix it to the elevated portion of the chaise. The inside frame is a powdercoated metal that will not rust. The legs are even finished in wicker.
I have taken a bunch of photos and posted them so you can see the detail areas. Everything about this appears very high end.
It is light enough to easily move around, but substantial enough it won't blow around in a normal breeze.
